Glasgard has proved itself well with listed buildings! |

Fitting and assembly In the normal case the blinds are mounted unto the inside of the window casement and fitted into narrow tracks. With multi-piece windows blind assemblies mounted unto the inner-wall are recommended. Even fitting into the spacing in double-piece windows is possible. However, arched windows present an exception. In this situation we recommend a wall assembly as the simplest solution. All guiding profiles and cassettes are presented for detailed planning on our homepage. Glare and heat protection in listed buildings In solidly constructed protected buildings heat protection does not have special importance because of the often high storage capacity. If the premises are predomiately used as an office building the glare protection of VDU-work stations earns higher priority. Fine textiles or highly transparent foils are available for this purpose. The technically ideal solutions are architecturally neutral foil hangings which are hardly visible from outside. They are often preferred because of their high transparency. According to individual desires regarding light tranparency, textile materials range from completely opaque to transparent. Transparent textile hangings have however, such a light transparency that they are hardly suitable for VDU-work stations. If heat protection is also a factor then heat-reflecting foil hangings are recommended. Take a look at our examples! |

There are some interesting solutions regarding heat and glare protection. In order to realise these solutions we have various systems with different size ALU-cassettes, for heights of up to 4 m.
