This blind system is available in cassette size:
45 x 45 mm.
The visual width from below is 77 mm (flange on both sides) or only 61 mm with flange on one side.

With this blind system the storage head also is constructed from zinc casting.
The system is operated by means of a pull chain or 24V Somfy tubular motor (Type LT28)

The cap profile

is premountable in various ways. Suspended from a Nonius hanger, as shown above or with an angle bracket which is screwed to the wall flange.

The insertion cassette

is available with with a doubled flange for insertion into the cap profile or with a single- sided flange for direct ceiling installations, if for example, it is not possible due to insufficient ceiling void it can be mounted by means of the cap profile.

The blind installation is quite simple. A cap profile is unnecessary. The cassette is lifted into the ca. 4.9 mm wide installation slot and screwed, with four screws - 2.9 x 22mm, unto the surround.
The blind is shown here as “reversed“, which means the hanging runs out of the cassette from the room side and not from the glass side.
The 45 mm insertion cassette contains a ca. 3.5 m high textile fine hanging, for example Trevira CS 0.115 mm thick or ca. 4 m 0.110 thick.
The blind is manually driven with an endless cassette drive or with a 24V tubular motor.

Blind exists of insertion cassette with cap profile. A countersunk M5 screw inserted into the dovetail slot is utilised for height adjustment.
The 45 mm insertion cassette contains a ca. 3.5 m high textile fine hanging, for example Trevira CS 0.115 mm thick or ca. 4 m 0.110 mm thick.
The blind insertion cassette is screw fixed, on both sides, with their assembly flanges unto the cap cassette. The blind is manually driven with an endless cassette drive or with a 24V tubular motor. Electric cables can be easily laid within the cable ducts.

 

 

The SYKON-bar profile is the ideal solution for blind installation in a post or bar construction.

This was especially developed for a façade builder for the seminar building of the University of Bremen. The bar profile was obtained from the façade builder by the company Sykon. Glasgard delivered the insertion cassette with hanging. Shortly before the university staff moved in the insertion cassette (45 x 45 mm) with the hanging, was installed into the bar profile. The hanging is operated by means of a bead chain.

The suspended ceiling system is likewise powered by a 24V Somfy motor.

When electrically driven the cassette body contains ca. 350cm Trevira CS-textile fabric hanging.

The combination of bar and cassette profile offers an elegant, closed and harmonious solution to glare protection in a post- / bar façade.
