Glasgard PicoloRollo

We achieve new dimensions in heat and glare protection with our Picolo system. A coil volume of up to 1.70 m fits into the Picolo 1 cassette, with a format of 30 x 30 mm, as the size comparison with a postage stamp shows.

The blind systems from the Picolo production line are available with bead chain or 24Volt mini-motor. Due to their minimal size and straightforward assembly they are presently our most popular blind systems.


Picolo reference projects

The Rheinland/Pfalz Regional Authorities office is situated in a listed building in Bad Ems. Heat and glare protection had to be installed in this protected building. The historical building regulations would not have been able to be fulfilled using external sun protection.  

Our Picolo blind system proved itself as the ideal solution.

The latticed windows did not allow a sunken fitting into the glazing rebate, placed unto the casement frame, as shown here. In order to leave the architecture of the windows undisturbed, the blind constructions had to be as small and unobtrusive as possible, as well as this they had to be as free as possible so that the opening of the window wasn´t obstructed..
